Marlene D. Thomson was born and raised in Dallas. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration in 1987. She attended law school at the University of Texas and received her Juris Doctor degree in 1990. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1990 and to the State Bar of Oklahoma in 2008. She has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts in Texas. Marlene is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas and the Oklahoma Bar Association.
Ms. Thomson practices primarily in the area of Landlord/Tenant Law, Commercial Litigation, Wrongful Death and Personal Injury Defense, Premises Liability and Construction Law. Representative cases include Gammill v. Jack Williams Chevrolet, 972 S.W.2d 713 (Tex. 1998) and Geye v. American Cyanamid Co., 79 S.W.3d 21 (Tex. 2002).
