Misti L. Beanland is a partner with the law firm of Matthews, Shiels, Knott, Eden, Davis & Beanland, L.L.P. and has been a member of the firm for over 26 years. She was admitted to the State Bar of Oklahoma in 1996 and the State Bar of Texas in 1997 and is an active member of the State Bar of Texas and Oklahoma Bar Association. Education: Southern Nazarene University (B.S. 1993, Magna Cum Laude), and Oklahoma City University School of Law (J.D. 1996).
She has served as a Council Member and is the Past Chair for the Construction Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, a member of the Texas Board of Legal Specialization Construction Law Advisory Commission, Chair of the Dallas Bar Association Construction Law, Chair of the Dallas Young Construction Lawyers Section and was instrumental in forming the Texas Women's Construction Law Group. Ms. Beanland has been selected a "Texas Super Lawyer" in Construction Law every year since 2016. Additionally, Ms. Beanland is a frequent presenter to attorneys and construction related groups concerning Construction Law, Bankruptcy and Collection issues.
